Calcium is Converted Into Aragonite
CA2 REACTOR is a filter that transforms calcium carbonate in your water into crystalized aragonite. Aragonite is a trace mineral that is highly prized in poultry feed and as a supplement industry wide. Calcium, as it passes through the reactor, is converted into aragonite. Aragonite is a mineral form of calcium that is available for immediate uptake in your birds digestive system. Aragonites’ rapid uptake supports stronger bird bones and better eggshells.
Improve Cool Cell Performance
As calcium builds up on your cool cells it calcifies, forming a white layer that restricts water absorption, reducing the evaporative performance of your cool cells. Aragonite is a crystalline mineral that will not bond to the cool cell surface. Once calcium is converted into aragonite through the CA2 REACTOR, it is no longer sticky and has a crystalline structure that cannot bond to the cool cell surface.
By preventing calcification on cool-cell pads, the CA2 REACTOR keeps pads porous and highly absorbent, allowing water to evaporate efficiently rather than run off. This reduces overall water usage, lowers house humidity, decreases pathogenic load on the pads (less standing water), and improves both evaporative cooling performance and fan efficiency — resulting in shorter fan run times, lower energy draw, and extended motor life.

(Scientific Reports, 2021) demonstrated superior eggshell thickness, breaking strength, and bone density in older laying hens fed aragonite-rich sources.
